CENTRAL CANADA CUP – 2ND DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT – One-sided victory for the QJAAAHL Perron-Burrows team against NOJHL team

TERREBONNE (December 28, 2013) – In the second game of the second day of the Central Canada Cup tournament,

the LHJAAAQ Perron-Burrows team scored five goals in the first period before recording their 2nd win of the tournament with a 10-1 victory over NOJHL team which in turn suffered their third loss in as many games. Jonathan Charbonneau (2-2-4), Samuel Aquin (1-3-4), Charles Guèvremont (0-4-4), Alexandre Tremblay (2-1-3), Gary Horic (2-1-3), Nicholas Dionne (2-1-3), Érik Longtin (0-3-3) and Francis Lévesque (1-0-1), led the Perron-Burrows team in scoring.

In the first period, the Perron-Burrows team took advantage of its special units by scoring 3 power-play goals and 1 shorthanded goal to take a 5-1 lead after twenty minutes of play. Francis Lévesque, Jonathan Charbonneau, Alexandre Tremblay, Samuel Aquin and Gary Horic scored for the Perron-Burrows team while Brady Cloutier was the only one to reply for the NOJHL team.

In the second period, the Perron-Burrows team sealed the win by adding four more goals. Nicolas Dionne, Gary Horic and Alexandre Tremblay, with respectively their 2nd goal of the game  and Curtis Gass scored for the Perron-Burrows team.
