CENTRAL CANADA CUP – 2ND DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT – First loss for the QJAAAHL St-Louis-Lalime team

TERREBONNE (December 28, 2013) – In the sixth and last game of the second day of the Central Canada Cup tournament, the QJAAAHL St-Louis-Lalime suffered its first loss of the tournament by losing 3-2 loss against the OJHL SW team. Overall in the tournament after four games, boths teams have the same record, with 3 wins and 1 loss.

In the first period, Philippe Venne opened the scoring for the St-Louis-Lalime team at 6:39 before seeing the CCHL capitalized on a power-play to tie the game with the goal of Antony Repaci at 11:47 and both teams retreated to the dressing room with a 1-1 tie after twenty minutes of play.

In the second period, Jean-Michel Busque, with his 3rd goal of the tournament, gave back a one-goal lead to the St-Louis-Lalime team but the OJHL SE replied with two unanswered goals. Vincent Fligliomeni tied the game at 5 :50 while with less than three minutes to play in the period, Shane Bennett scored the game winner.
