CCP – 3RD DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT – ANOTHER FESTIVAL OF GOALS FOR ST-LOUIS-LALIME

TERREBONNE (December 29, 2013) – In the thirteenth game of the third and last day of the Central Canada Cup tournament, the QJAAAHL St-Louis-Lalime easily won 9-2 against QJAAAHL Perron-Burrows team and earned a participation to the final. Overall for the tournament, the St-Louis-Lalime has compiled an excellent record of 4 wins and only 1 loss while the Perron-Burrows ended with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses. The St-Louis-Lalime team should await the result of the game between OJHL NE and CCHL to know the identity of the other finalist. A victory for the CCHL will allow them to participate in the final.

In the first period, the St-Louis-Lalime started the game  strong by scoring 7 goals to take a 7-1 lead after twenty minutes of play. Benjamin Lagarde, with two goals, its 5th and 6th of the tournament Philippe Venne, Jérémy Plourde, Mathieu Roy, Julien Houle and Raphaël-Pier Richer, scored for St-Louis-Lalime while the only one to reply for Perron-Burrows team was Gabriel Gagnon.

In the second period, Marc-Anthony Therrien and Jean-Michel Busque sealed the victory for St-Louis-Lalime while Jason Crack, on a power-play, was the only scorer for Perron-Burrows.
